Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor is an American producer stage and screen actress who is best recognized for her roles in films in Ray Undercover Brother and on the popular television series The Mentalist. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in African-American Studies at Brown University as well as a master's degree in Fine Arts in Acting from the Tisch School for the Arts New York University. Aunjanue is a film and theater actress, and she is also a producer. Her career began acting in the theatre but then proceeded to be a part of numerous television programs, as well as independent and mainstream films.
