
Suzanne Pleshette, born January 31, 1937, died on January 19 the 19th of January, 2008. She was an American film voice actress, voice actor and television host. Pleshette began her professional career in the theater, and she appeared in films in the 1950s and later. She was later featured in notable films such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), or Spirited Away (192001). From 1972 to 1978 Pleshette was a regular guest on various television productions. She was also a part of Emily Hartley, which earned numerous Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette was the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan), and Eugene Pleshette. She was born in Brooklyn Heights, New York City on January 31 1937. Her parents were Jewish and were immigrants from Russia or Austria-Hungary. She was the daughter of Geraldine Rivers, a performer and dancer. Her father was a stage manager in both the Paramount Theater and the Paramount Theater in Manhattan.
